At birth the body is bright pink and will be covered by white fur at first. Pointed white is basically the color pattern of the Californian or Himalayan rabbit. The body is white, with color on the nose, ears, tail and feet. Sometimes it can take as much as 3 months before the points darken enough to know what you have. Eye color is red. Points can be black, chocolate, lilac or blue. Toenails should be dark.
