At birth the body appears black on top with pink/white under the chin, on the chest, belly and inside of legs. By 2 weeks a brown or tan triangle appears at the base of the neck. Chestnut has white eye circles laced with tan and white in the nose. A ring pattern should be visible when you blow into the coat by the age of 6 weeks. Eye color is brown.
